Reagan Insider: Black Swan Event To Destroy Economy Coming, Followed By Great Depression 2

"How my G.O.P. destroyed the U.S. economy." Yes, that is exactly what David Stockman, President Ronald Reagan's director of the Office of Management and Budget, wrote in a recent New York Times op-ed piece, "Four Deformations of the Apocalypse."

Get it? Not "destroying." The GOP has already "destroyed" the U.S. economy, setting up an "American Apocalypse."
Yes, Stockman is equally damning of the Democrats' Keynesian policies. But what this indictment by a party insider -- someone so close to the development of the Reaganomics ideology -- says about America, helps all of us better understand how America's toxic partisan-politics "holy war" is destroying not just the economy and capitalism, but the America dream. And unless this war stops soon, both parties will succeed in their collective death wish.

But why focus on Stockman's message? It's already lost in the 24/7 news cycle. Why? We need some introspection. Ask yourself: How did the great nation of America lose its moral compass and drift so far off course, to where our very survival is threatened?

We've arrived at a historic turning point as a nation that no longer needs outside enemies to destroy us, we are committing suicide. Democracy. Capitalism. The American dream. All dying. Why? Because of the economic decisions of the GOP the past 40 years, says this leading Reagan Republican.

Please listen with an open mind, no matter your party affiliation: This makes for a powerful history lesson, because it exposes how both parties are responsible for destroying the U.S. economy. Listen closely:

Reagan Republican: the GOP should file for bankruptcy

(snippet)
Stage 1. Nixon irresponsible, dumps gold, U.S starts spending binge
Stage 2. Crushing debts from domestic excesses, war mongering
Stage 3. Wall Street's deadly 'vast, unproductive expansion'
Stage 4. New American Revolution class warfare coming soon

Warning: This black swan won't be pretty, will shock, soon
His bottom line: "The day of national reckoning has arrived. We will not have a conventional business recovery now, but rather a long hangover of debt liquidation and downsizing ... it's a pity that the modern Republican party offers the American people an irrelevant platform of recycled Keynesianism when the old approach -- balanced budgets, sound money and financial discipline -- is needed more than ever."
Wrong: There are far bigger things to "pity."
First, that most Americans, 300 million, are helpless, will do nothing, sit in the bleachers passively watching this deadly partisan game like it's just another TV reality show.
Second, that, unfortunately, politicians are so deep-in-the-pockets of the Wall Street conspiracy that controls Washington they are helpless and blind.
And third, there's a depressing sense that Stockman will be dismissed as a traitor, his message lost in the 24/7 news cycle ... until the final apocalyptic event, an unpredictable black swan triggers another, bigger global meltdown, followed by a long Great Depression II and a historic class war.
So be prepared, it will hit soon, when you least expect.

  1. This is exaxctly what I have taken from all of the national races and most of the state races.

There are now in place a few good govenors and a few good congress/senators.

But the vast majority; you listen to them for 1/2 an hour and they do nothing but regurgitate
incoherent rhetoric that has absolutly no fundamental meaning; let alone a sound plan.

That is what I mean in prior posts when I say it's the people - not the politician. But people are so fucking dumb out of a beginning cast of 14
with 3 really good possibilities - we get McCain
    and barry?

It's so basic and my dear ole Granddaddy who was nothing more than a dirt poor farmer all his life but you didn't pull the wool over gramps' eyes and you damn straight had better not lie to him - he would call you out on it - liked to say
you cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear no matterhow hard you spin it.

Which leads me to the main point. It is quite obvious thruout most of the elections in the lsat 10-12 years that people in this country are just as out of touch with reality as the politicans are

It's a true recipe for disaster - the blind leading the blind

  2. The Republican party died with Barry Goldwater, the last true conservative. The liberals controlled both houses over 40 years and watched over the destruction of the country. The differences between today's conservative republicans and liberal democrats are so slim without a roster you would be clueless as their party affiliation. There is really only one party today with two names, with some members slightly more liberal than the other.

Only a true grassroots uprising will affect really change or rather return to what we once were before War Inc. took over.

  3. 11:40- Well put indeed! You alluded to your old Grand daddy-reminds me of my old dad-cut from the same cloth. WW11 vet, honest hardworking and straight as an arrow. You know, that was the best generation of people the world will ever know...I`m 62 and I can walk the same path as my dad, but the bootprints are just too big...

+1 It may be the Tea Party, I'm not sure but we are in the beginning of the next American revolution. A true grassroots uprising can pull the money together and vote out the elite

  7. 9:55,

Interestingly the Baby Boomers (50s and 60s) act as if they were a noble generation who are now getting the short end of the stick. This is perhaps the most selfish generation that LIVED.

Why? They were not the men who put on war gear and charged mountain tops outnumbered 10 to one with Japanese gunfire raining down on them and still came out victorious almost everytime.

They weren't the women who went into such dangerous areas to tend to wounded soldiers and helped out by building planes and guns for them.

Instead they somehow have the legacy of raising Generation X, an execrable generation, and also Generation Y - the most barbaric youth of all time. They walk around in a catatonic state; high, drunk, and lol-ing. They are there, but they aren't really there. Generation Z... well, their fate is obvious.

What happened then? Baby Boomers like to take great credit for having worked so hard for what they have and yell at their teens or 20 somethings for doing something wrong or not having a job. Who really caused that situation?

The Baby Boomers were the ones who bridged us into this predicament. They let themselves get nudged piece by piece until now we've crossed the Rubicon. They were not strong like their parents.

To illustrate this: The Progressives of the first half of the 20th century founded the basic protocol of what they wished to establish. The Communists posed as Civil Rights advocates as they created the Hippie Movement and guised them as "Kids just trying to attain peace."

Meanwhile the Progressives succeeded in tarnishing the Education System. The shady kinds of Capitalists had no problem with this since this dumbing down of the masses could make people more impulsive/consumptive, less likely to read and investigate, and therefore become more susceptible to brainwash. Now people believe fiction shows on the television are documentaries. They think vampires and werewolves are real. If this is still only a discriminating portion of Americans; the penultimate layer to that one of the stratum of ignorance is nonetheless the norm. Frightening enough.

Hippies were nothing more than a movement used to kill the youth in the USA. There was absolutely nothing noble about them. Yeah, they were misunderstood. What was misunderstood about them is that they were not here to spread love and peace, they were used to spread stupidity, disease, and drugs.

Hippies were the Baby Boomers, and today the youth is 10 times worse than the Hippies.

It is quite amusing that every other country that collapsed because of a Communist Insurrection in the 20th century followed the same pattern.

Blissful People ----> Unfolding Agenda ----> Increasing Chaos ----> Unshrouding Obfuscations
----> Civil Disruption ----> Mr. Red shows up and will help you all become blissful again.

  8. Stockman has a very warped sense of history. The Reagan Tax Cuts did exactly as intended, However, in order to get the tax cuts he wanted, he had to play ball with a Democratic Congress. Receipts soared under Reagan, but expenditures soared even more with the Democrats spending like drunken sailors. Who in CONgress didn't want more military spending for their own district or state?

If we had done the tax cuts while constraining rampant government spending, we would be in a much different place today. Don't take my word for any of this. Simply look at receipts and outlays under Reagan. How hard is that to figure out?

More importantly, both political partys are nothing more than perfectly legal crime syndicates who receive tribute from those they protect.

  11. There have have been and never will be "balanced budgets' to pay for decent social security guarantees ,as long as an imperialist government pays out a trillion or 2 on wars and taxes must go on interest payments to the bondholders of war deficit spending and on hidden subsidies to the military industrial complex.
If americans want to survive the current Global economic crises they have to cut the costs of permanent oil and CIA backed drug wars for empire.
