  2. The crisis is over. Bernanke's con job would be entertaining if not so obvious. The Fed was actually scared of one thing. The audit. Now that will be shelved while Americans celebrate B.O. saving us from a depression! /sarcasm/

Crap there are some brutal things coming. You can just smell it in the air.

Now that the CIA's revolution in Iran has failed I guess we can expect some staged conflict with Iran before the end of the year. More billions for the warwongers and poverty for the rest of us.

  3. Now I know why I don't watch CNBC, that reporter? is an A@@. If you ask a question at least have the decencey to let him answer without constantly interrupting and trying to put words in his mouth. Schiff is a gentleman, because I would have walked off the set after the 2nd interruption.

  4. Schiff is 100% the gentleman. The CNBC asswipe was just displaying how corporate news operates. Not news or informative interviews. Badger and suppress, than inflict a corporate friendly opinion.

  5. They are scared of Schiff as he is much like Ron Paul. They worry that too many liberty embracing politician's are going to fubar their cozy situtation.

  6. Chris Dodd the AIG bonus king is Peter's competition for the Senate seat. What a joke. Wait. Not a joke. Americans are dumb enough to put the AIG king back in and left Schiff out. Peter will be portrayed as negative and a negative thinker is bad for the country. Sad.

  7. Oh man. Usually I like Peter Schiff.

But what he says about healthcare is pure BS.
The reason why American healthcare is too expensive is not because of the government, but because lawsuits are so expensive overthere. If doctors weren't risking million-dollar lawsuits, they wouldn't have to charge so much.
Government-run health insurance is cheap and good in Europa, thank you.

What is the name of that a@@hole reporter: He should be taken off the air, he is sooooo rude, he does not deserve a program.

  9. Why anyone would watch MSM news anymore is below me. I pick and choose what to watch via the net, but watching the freak show of non-reporters is just not empowering. CNBC, Fox, whoever - just die.

Peter's video blogs are the best, one on one.

Lawsuits are definitely a factor but Medicare and Medicaid are a big reason why healthcare is out of control. Just like Peter said, look how the cost of anything that is subsidized becomes unaffordable. The greatest undermining subsidy of all to us common folk, is how these jackoffs in Congress vote to pay for these programs by inflation since we do not take the money in through taxation. That alone drives up the cost for us all.

  11. Future history is being written right now. We are living in the last days of a prosperous, high standard of living America.

We will look back on these days with great nostalgia. The days of never missing a meal. The days of living in a big home with clean water, heat and A/C just a finger touch away.

  14. what was the point of that inteview?. We didn't hear any answers and it was mostly two people trying to talk over each other ...... if you're doing an interview then at least do it properly for goodness sake .... instead it probably pissed of a lot viewers from watching this show ever again.

  18. Lawsuits and the expensive insurance that is required to protect oneself from them, coupled with the insurance companies themselves, which only act as a hedge against human occuring events (ie making money off of nothing, similar in nature to banking), expensive education, over-specialization, and then finally buearacracy and regulation (in its current form).

Peter Schiff gets redundant when all he talks about is the Free Market system. But at least he makes fair sense among the idiots frothing at the mouth on the not-so-journalistic news channels.

  20. Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente are my economic heros.

When everyone is starving and I have a can of beans on hand; when I have silver; when I have hope; I'll thank these guys.

  21. I bought a 10 ounce ingot of 999 silver a few days ago.

It feels so solid and weighty in the hand.

It's like a fat metalic steak.

And I can use it as a weapon if need be.

    *KLANG*

  22. Talking Heads said it best:

well we know where we're going, but we dont know where we've been
and we know what we're knowing, but we can't say what we've seen
and we're not little children, and we know what we want
and the future is certain, give us time to work it out

    yeah

we're on a road to nowhere, come on inside
we'll take that ride to nowhere, we'll take that ride

we're on a road to nowhere
we're on a road to nowhere
we're on a road to nowhere

  23. Actually that idiot reporter is doing more than he can possibly know to help Peter Schiff's Campaign, and doing more than he can possibly know to hurt Chris Dodd. If the reporter werent such a "tool" people would probably just tune him out and ignore the whole debate, but when reporters act like that you will come out siding with Peter Schiff nearly 100% of the time -- just because you see he is being badgered and not being allowed to finish his sentences and participate in a meaningful discussion of either health care or education without being cut off. Rock on Peter Schiff!!!!! :>)

  24. Absolutely true!

  25. 9:12 - You should try a 100 ounce bar! Super Klang. Yes, they also make 1000 ounce bars.

I couldn't imagine the future value of those. Trade for an island?
