  1. a lot of great information is presented here on this financial blog. I like it better than most of them out there, as the others just seem to want to deal with abstract charts and darts that really dont tell you much. This one is different. Also, I am getting pretty tired of hearing about the McDoe family that has been struggling for so long to get out of debt, and finally has made a little progress, heading for a goal of debt free "except" for the jumbo mortgage.
Give me a break, this so called jumbo mortgage is the root of their problems. THEY ARE FILLED WITH GREED! Am I suposed to have some kind of sympathy for these greed laden, overweight, out of control credit card spenders? There are hundreds of examples out there of the McDoe's. There are not very many examples of McDoes who have crashed due to impossible medical bills or other no-fault financial fiascos. Most of the examples show a trend of high powered pure greed in the run up from year 2000 to year 2006 or 7. Now the combined efforts of the big banker elites and the greed of the McDoe's has brought job losses to even more not-so-guilty McDoes.
Charts and Darts are one thing---the pure unabashed selfish greed of many many families is another. I call them McDoe's in unaffordable McMansions, but any vanilla name would do.

  2. Once the law to criminalise doomerism starts to be enforced, all our problems will be over.

  3. I hope they start enforcing rules but come back same time next year, and the issues will still be the same nothing gets resolved.
