The government wants Americans to believe the greatest economic collapse in history was the result of ineptness and mistakes yet still have confidence in their financial institutions.
Should American bankers be let off the hook because they self-declare, before an investigational panel, that the failure of their newly invented risk swaps and other highly leveraged investment schemes was simply due to "mistakes"? Not malfeasance – just every-day mistakes? Bankers just fell asleep at the helm at a critical juncture in American history. Is that what we are being led to believe?
Oh well, it’s just 18 million American homes that now lay empty in the wake of unprecedented foreclosures, and the bankers have collected obscene bonuses for reckless lending of their depositors’ money. It’s like the captain and crew of a ship saying, not to worry, twenty-percent of the passengers were lost overboard, but this was due to unavoidable mistakes, and then being rewarded with bonuses when they reach port.

If you look back at Bernanke, he wrote a book on depressions and how the government can't spend their way out of them. Look at what he's doing now! It's intent.
You guys have to realize that your country being 5% of the planet population consumes 50% of the recourses. Can it continue like that? No. So the gang that thinks that all the recourses belong to them want to stop it. That's why you have the crisis. So, what methods are used to flush your country down the toilet? To run budget deficit as high as possible – for that war is a perfect tool. What else do they achieve with the war. Usually, the most patriotic and active country loving people go in the army to defend it, even though the enemy is within, but they do not get it. The idea is to exterminate the most brave and patriotic people. They'll come back either in body bags or totally demoralized. This way the chance of public to stand up to the elite goes down. So, the sell outs in Congress with the exception of Ron Paul, either lie to you or do not understand what is going on. Neither is good for the country. But do not feel deceived. It is going on everywhere, in Europe too. The only difference is that the French go to protest on the streets, you guys sit and watch American Idol. But the vote goes to INTENT.

It is a slew of mistakes, it is the carelessness of leaders, it is the every-man for himself mentality, it's greed, corruption, consumerism, wars for empire, and the life of luxury for the lucky few driving their gas guzzlers, charging up credit cards buying McMansions and Widescreens, and more. Go and read about the depression in 1894 before the 'first great depression'. It was worse than the first great depression. It was very bad and it was caused by wild real estate speculation as well. They also engaged in a lot of back room betting through something called 'derivatives' back then and it didn't end well.

It's part of a greater plan to remove America from hegemony and delegate America to second or third world status. I knew back in the 2000-2003 gold was going to go up in price (it trippled and then some from that point). I knew housing was a bubble that was building up. ReplyDelete6:58 yes I do believe that solar and small wind turbines can work on the small scale. We will have to implement them more in the future.
But, on the large scale there are many stickers along the way. And even if solar and wind were "free energy", which they arent because they have high manufacturing costs and some maintenance costs as well, they would never be able to replace oil and natural gas.
You see, us Americans are too addicted to our way of life to even imagine scaling back and leading a different lifestyle. We will TAKE what is RIGHTFULLY ours at the cost of many innocent lives along the way.
Sustainable? Yes, for now, with the blood of disposable humans.
