Atlantic City Casinos Bankrupt

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Resorts Atlantic City, the nation's first casino to open outside Nevada says it can't guarantee it will survive. Another Atlantic City casino hasn't paid its loan since last summer. And three others are in bankruptcy.
Atlantic City's 11 casinos have been struggling for more than three years now. Financial documents filed with the state this week show just how bad things have gotten.
The news was worst for the two casinos believed to be the most endangered: Resorts Atlantic City, which was taken over by its lenders in December, and the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort, which defaulted on its mortgage in July and could be headed for the same fate.
Resorts told the state it may not continue as a going concern.

  1. Casinos are a failed economic model based upon large numbers of people having both free time and cash flow.

This is the model of the defined benefit retiree; who are an endangered species that is now beginning a die-off in large numbers.

New retirees that are replacing the old guard are increasing reliant on finite pools of cash such as 401(k) plans that they self-sacrificed to save during their working lives versus COLA'd monthly pension checks that someone else paid (and still does pay) for.

    Casinos = EPIC FAIL

  2. While I feel very bad for the employees and support businesses for these casinos, the elite who own them are the scumbags of the earth. They love sucking money from the sheep.

While highly unlikely, it would be nice to see the Casino owner scumbags standing in a food line somewhere.

Looks like the collapse is ever so close now.

Better prepare, time is very short.

  4. Going forward the most likely scenario is:

    1. some sort of false flag terrorist event leading to martial law in the USA, conveniently timed to coincide with the abyss of social unrest and poverty in the country. Poor people have no rights.

    2. 90% of Americans entirely dependant on the government somehow for survival, ie. foodstamps and social security and unemployment and then a permanent dole like europe for the massive amounts of unemployed, provided you obey your master and go along with their agenda which brings us to step

    3. An American/Isreali attack upon Iran leading to a long protracted 3rd world war between freedom loving indigineous peoples of 3rd world countries and the money masters which own and control the USA and

    4. a draft of american men and women into the military to do the evil deeds of the war loving Oligarchy.

  5. 9:19 You forgot the new "green" taxes and "VAT" (value added tax) CURRENTLY being looked at in our criminal senate. BE 100% SURE they will be on the books within a few months.

    We are so screwed....

  8. Why would there be a need to declare Martial Law, 9:19? So long as there are Bread & Circuses, the neutered Masses are not a threat, and of no consequence. Now, a Marshmallow Law I could understand. All people are required to be Marshmallows. Those who resist will be rounded up and promptly Marshmallowed.

  9. 11:51am, you're right there is no need for Martial law. It's not like the semantic differance between there being a declared state of martial law and the de facto martial law we already live under would do anything except slap the face of the servant very hard so the whole cheek turns red and flushed with stifled rage.

Oh, I forgot that that's precisely what the government likes because you can't think in any rational way when you're enraged and stifled, now can you?

Forget MKULTRA, the English landowners in Ireland knew how to dominate a population correctly in the 1840's.

  10. Maybe the other states jumping on the Casino bandwagon will heed this news. PA and FL think this is their secret plan to save the economy

  11. Comrades, I have reported all your negative comments and lies to the Central Committee who will put you on trial before sending you to the Gulags for re-education.

There will be no talk about Marshal Law or our Superior Economy failing. Everything is good in Happy Valley.

Please go back to your "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Countdown with Keith Olbermann"

  12. I'm tired of being a wage slave. I think I'm going to quit my job. I'm tired of being too tired to think clearly. Everything is happening so quickly. To think I've been scrimpimng and saving for years just to possibly lose it all over night. I would be pretty upset to lose everything I worked so hard for. I think I might just enjoy life while I can. Is being at work more days of your life than at home really how God intended life to be. I'm so tired of being a wage slave. To work just to pay the government.
