d) $1.1 billion to allow the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a permanent board to ration health care services, a precursor to universal health care. (A Billion dollar BOARD OF HEALTH? Enough for FREE HEALTH CARE for a YEAR!)
e) Hundreds of millions of dollars for contraceptives and family planning services through Medicaid.
f) $650 million dollars for additional digital TV converter box coupons. ( turn the TV off and get to basics, IDIOTS!)
g) $166 billion in direct aid to help states pay their bills. ( Due to illegal immigrants)
h) $13 billion for reading programs.
i) $15.6 billion to increase the maximum annual Pell grant (for college students) by $500 from $4,360 to $4,860.
j) $3 billion to public health departments for additional immunizations. ( immunize yourself from a DUMB Gov't)
k) $1 billion in additional funding to pay heating bills of low-income Americans. ( Give them a JOB, clean the streets ANYTHING)

m) $100 million for National Science Foundation scholarships.
n) $200 million for nutrition programs. ( Buy Macdonalds , Burger King and the rest of them foul places AND SHUT THEM DOWN!)
o) $200 million to provide incentives to teachers to raise test scores. ( Teach students how to write a check, pay a bill, apply for a scholarship, grocery shop, how to apply for a rental apt, EVERYDAY STUFF YA KNOW? BUT TEST SCORES? Bunch of Simpletons)

    Yeah, everday stuff!

A little like closing the barn door after all the horses have escaped!

What a complete wate of a good 850 billion bucks.

Throw this in with the rest of the money and you have roughly 10 Trillion smackaroonies.

Now, divide that by 300 Million of us and you get...

    That is right...

Everyone gets a check for $33,333.

For a family of 4 that is more than $125K.

You don't think that would have paid off some mortgages, HELOCs, cars, and CCs?

But, but, but, we can't have that.

Debt destruction means banksters go outta bidness and it def. means deflation and contraction.

Can't have any of that, can we?

Also, means people might finally loose the chains of debt slavery.

    Def. can't have that!!!!!!!

    EVER!

No... but we'll all be better soup line dancers!

  6. They are using every $ in the country to fuel a warm fuzzy bogus campfire that will only last a half hour.
Just enough time to get your weenie roasted!

They are intentionally giving away every dollar so that when the real crap hits the fan the cupboard will be bare and desperate hungry citizens will be more than compliant in singing from the New World Order hymn book.

    This depression is intentional.
    Beware the wolf.

  7. 850 billion divided by 300 million is not $33,333. It's $2,833. Still a lot, but off by an order of magnitude.

Folks, this is what stimulus *is*. Nobody is spending any money, so the government decides to spend. It spends a lot of money on a lot of stuff. That reading program? That's money going into the hands of some unemployed liberal arts grad who now has money to spend at the local grocer, who now stays in business. It's not good long term policy, but all the monetary tools have been used (0% interest anyone?) and there are no more arrows in that quiver. This hail mary pass is all we've got left to try. If it fails, we're gonna have a lot bigger problems than bitching about money to the NEA.

Read what I said, total dollar amount of this entire bailout is 10 Trillion. Divide by 300 million, yaou get $33,333.

I never said 850 billion divided by 300 million. Reread my original post.

Our goobermint is flushing away the equivalent of our national debt to prop up wall street.

    What crooks!

  12. I don't buy that you are an economic analyst. If you want to have a blog about what's wrong with the economy, that's fine... but don't try to pass off your vague, barely researched opinion piece as "What is really happening in the financial world". If you actually want to help people, do some genuine, objective analysis and figure how to write about that in a sensible way. Saying that your info is not from mainstream news does not mean that it's any more accurate than the crap you see on TV.
