Peter Schiff: OIL is going well above $200

21 comments:

  1. Schiff running for Senate gets two thumbs down. He can't make any difference there. He thinks logical arguments will make a difference. They will not; you can't change the minds of corrupted politicians on the take. The bankers run our Congress. One man won't make a difference. Ask Ron Paul.

  2. And then we have another guy saying it will go back down to $20 within the next 5 years........all a bunch of guessing

  3. Oil going to over $ 200 ?? Not in this deflationary environment. Oil going higher not because the US government is printing giant amounts of money but because of the demand and (lack of) supply considerations. Only when the worldeconomy is going to recover then the price of oil is going through the roof.

  4. I think oil will probably go to over $200. When is the question. I suppose whenever hyperinflaton hits, and that time seems to vary depending on who you talk to or read.

Peter is a smart guy, I will go by what he says..

  5. Oil has ALREADY deflated to well below 70. It will go back above it again. Demand has abated slightly but the future is higher energy prices.

persisting demand + depleting supplies = higher prices = stumbling economy

  6. Depleting supplies of oil is a myth thrust upon the world by the elites. The north shore of Alaska alone has enough oil to power the USA for the next several decades and it would be CHEAP!

Not to mention some, if not the worlds largest oil reserves are in the USA but our govt has made sure these VAST oil reserves cannot be touched.

Peak oil is a sham just like man-made global warming. Check out Lindsey Williams, he talks about the vast reserves in north Alaska and how one of the first things done was to get CONgress to pass legislature so that oil can never be drilled.

  7. I wonder if this stupid cow ever goes shopping (to Costco for instance) and if she actually pays attention to how much the food costs now. Cheese is probably double the price it was in the beginning of this millennium. Everything is double the price compare to what it used to be. Even house that had fallen in price dramatically. And she can shove the price index up the Fed' a$$.

  8. In addition, of course Warring Puppet is going to kiss Obama's ass after raking in the government bail out money for the companies where he has a stake. I think it is even visible how he tries to kiss the ass and keep his face as a sound investor.

  9. I know - of course Warren is going to lie for B.O. when they hand him sacks of cash.

As for Peak Oil, yes it is a sham. I believed it was real when I watched the Peak Oil, the end of suburbia video/dvd. That was as good a con job as man-made Global Warming. But fortunately I dug a little deeper and saw it for what it is, a lie.

The calling card of the Elite is scarcity. If something is portrayed as in limited supply, running out, must be conserved, must be taxed, etc, you usually will find the bankers behind it.

Plentiful resources are against their agenda. Scarcity = dependence = control/debt = slavery.

Of course there are clean, plentiful resources for energy such as thermal (watch Zeitgeist Addendum). Free energy is also a reality; research Nicola Tesla. Could you imagine how much less control the elite would have over you if you had FREE energy? If you were not on a power grid? If your air/heat/electricity were free - anywhere? Even a log cabin 100 miles out in the woods? That is why you cannot have access to REAL tech.

That is why the basics of the automobile hasn't changed for 80 years. Oil - what a joke.

  10. I learned about Tesla from James McCanney...very interesting!

I think lots of us outside-the-box people know the elites have alternate forms of power which would blow most minds but they will not release any of this "advanced technology" until they get their new world order and even then it will be for the "land owners" and not us "serfs"

    bastards.

Believe me, you aren't saying anything new. I've heard that one a million times from the conspiracy buffs. Unfortunately, it is patently untrue. But I won't waste any time arguing it. Time will be the real test. when the machine the elites built starts to really break down you will know that it was because of oil depletion and NOT that the elites were trying to destroy the silly American Dream.

  12. If there are plenty of clean energy sources that make you LESS reliant on the grid, but can still power all your electronics and vehicles and so forth the same way, then go for it. Stop sitting around complaining about it and be free, I say.

Solar and wind are nice, but they are but a fraction of what will satisfy the thirst of a world designed by cheap oil. We can transition to these things but a lot will need to change first. Like the belief that endless consumption and energy is possible or even desirable on earth.

  13. I've been tinkering with solar a bit. Pretty simple actually. Yes, it provides just a little power when you are dealing with a small bank of batteries. Some power is better than none though if they shut off the grid or prices skyrocket.

Solar panel, solar converter, DC/AC inverter, batteries.

GWB's ranch is completely off the grid in every way - prick.

  14. Cool CoolKitty you couldn't be further from the truth. Peak oil is a myth, it is not true. This world is loaded with oil, especially North America but this land will not be drilled.

IF the elite's machines break down it's because they want them to. Roosevelt once said, "nothing happens by coincidence, if something happens you can bet it was planned that way."

And I despise the words conspiracy theory. I think there is MORE than enough to truth to move away from the words conspiracy theory. We are seeing a bold move into a new world order which will include a one world religion, a one world govt and one world financial order.

    All FACTS!

  15. DH, again you are saying nothing new that all of us haven't heard a million times. It doesn't make it accurate though. The US peaked in oil back in the early 70's and MK Hubbert predicted when it would happen in the 50's. I wish more people realized that the natural world has limitations and behaved in accordance with that fact. We would be in a much better place.

Yes, I believe solar and wind will provide us with the ability to power some of our gizmos for a while to come. I still fantasize about the idea of living on a sailboat with solar and/or wind power and the ability to travel with "free energy" from place to place as needed or desired.

The next thing you know he's going to be seen gardening and raising his own food. That will be the real sign of the apocalypse.

  16. In November he declared Gold will be 2000. So far, so wrong.

  17. The trend is in place.

Take a look at this graph: http://goldprice.org/charts/history/gold_all_data_o_usd.png

See any similarities to 1979 and now? Oil crunch anyone?

  18. @Cool Cool Kitty,
Why would America explore it's own oil if it can print money and give it to the fools up north, in Russia and the Middle East? Makes no sense. For as long as other nations are going to be morons that they are, America does not need to explore anything. BTW, the whole stink about Iran happens beacuse they refuse to take dollar. BTW, Saddam tried to do it too. We all know where he ended up.

  19. Makes no sense? Oil is money. That's why we are printing dollars like crazy and trying to get a hold of the resources around the globe (through brutal force) and why we keep a strategic supply in the ground at all times. I suppose the tar sands and oil shale efforts are all a guise created by you know who - the elites. After all, the create everything, from the fake butter you are using to the bad hurricane seasons and the earthquakes (via HARP) which are going to expedite the coming apocalypse (note: an apocalypse is perfectly possible but it certainly won't be created solely by a few rich greedy white men, unless it's nuclear or viral in nature of course).
