The biggest and most secretive gathering of ships in maritime history lies at anchor east of Singapore. Never before photographed, it is bigger than the U.S. and British navies combined but has no crew, no cargo and no destination - and is why your Christmas stocking may be on the light side this year.

Obviously the shipping industry has not been informed that everything is great-that the U.S. is now out of recession and the world is recovering. Just direct them to the manipulated stock market if they have any doubts! Ummmm, something doesn't add up here-

Port of Long Beach CA cargo is down about 20% year over year. So this is the boat boneyard. Wondered where they put 'em all.
ReplyDeleteBut..but.. the TV said the recession is over and unemployment is going down. Our country's economy thrives over the Christmas shopping season, starting in August (or this year, June). I am sure those photos are of old ships that have seen their day. Nothing can stop Santa Clause!
ReplyDeleteMy local Walmart store already has several Christmas isles. I'm already buying for Christmas this year, and I am sure most red blooded Americans are also. I don't mind my cc card company raising the interest rate to 27% on my card, I can still make the monthly payments.
27% - 30% on a lot of CCs. You have to laugh at the greed. Geezus Christ. They get free digits and loan them out at 30%. That is a street loan shark rate.
ReplyDeleteJust how badly do people have to get screwed before they can see that it is all being done by the banksters. Wage slavery. Open robbery. They own all the politicians, the media, the military, everything.
"I've cornered the coal market and will be making a KILLING this christmas season.
