Health Care Reform

The question of whether or not to have universal healthcare in United States has been quite controversial. There are those who believe that considering the current problems facing the country in provision of healthcare to all people, it would be better to have universal healthcare system to ensure that all Americans have access to healthcare. Since the beginning of the healthcare debate, many things have been said about how healthcare reform will help all of us. Many of the provisions don't kick in until 2014, but the extra taxes have already started.

They are the only developed country without a national health care system in place for all citizens. They have the opportunity to learn from the mistakes that have been made by all the other countries that have already gone down the universal health care road. They have an opportunity to design a system that can shine as a jewel in the crown of universal health care systems everywhere.

A large section of the U.S population is uninsured and underinsured for medical claims. This is despite the fact that more money per person spent on medical costs in the United States is significantly higher than any other nation in the world. Moreover, the United States spends a significantly larger proportion of its national income than almost every other member states of the UN except East Timor. Read more.....

  1. Funny, once a day I browse this site and dailyjobcuts. Things are worse than ever, only the fiction shows on television show otherwise.

Real people are struggling like hell; families are falling apart, ignorance is spreading, attention spans diminishing, yada yada...

For three years straight idiot diversions like CNN and USAToday seem to sway back and forth on what's happening.

Day one will be an article about how the "crisis returns on stock plunge!"

Day two, "Stocks rise on debt solution."

Day three, "Euro tumbles and gold rises."

Day four, "Gold falls with job creation."

This seems to be quickening. Now you'll have newspapers claiming doom while an article on the same page will be showing optimism.

This world is really getting funky, I'm positive we're in the "Time of Confusion" which Lau Tzu discussed in the Hua Hu Ching.

This site seems to get worse as well, so I'm probably wasting my energy here. But the following is to occur within the next two decades (in no order):

    1) A gold rush which will lead to a gold confiscation + a ban on gold prospecting resembling the prohibition era.

    2) Abnormalcies will take over society; delusional content like movies, youtube, and porn will warp people like you won't believe.

    3) Drug use will be so common it will no longer be a crime. Police will be targets, many cities won't have cops.

    4) Internet will pave the way for legal prostitution. Pedophiles and rapists will be accepted.

    5) The third great war which will extend from Libya to Pakistan, and from Saudi Arabia to Turkey.

    6) Death of the Euro and US dollar. The US military will fall away as well. Centralized structures will be lost.

    7) A civil war in China.

    8) Wallstreet will be overrun - socialist groups and unions will bring about much destruction.

    9) Mexicans and Americans living near the border will be at war with the Zetas.

    10) People will finally realize all of their current leaders and intellectual authorities were false prophets.

    11) Great individuals, the true spiritual masters, will beg humanity to use their guidance. Their help will finally be accepted after much suffering and revelation transpires.

Following number 11 will be a social renaissance - bringing about a spiritual renewal.

  2. The U.S. has the best healthcare in the world. Why should we screw it up by installing a socialized health care that has failed where ever it was used??
More importantly why should I pay for YOUR health care?
