How brilliant! Now his neighbors know where to come to kill him and take all his food. Where was the piece on his guns and ammo? He may be a doctor, but not much of a military man.
I love how when the subject of storing food or water comes up the media will always refer to the ridiculous Y2K scare to make the prudent person look like an overreacting nutcase.
Want proof that the goverment wants people to be starved out and reporting to 'centers' for help and registration? 3-day food recommendation!!!! Yeah that will do you a lot of good.
My buddy is a regional manager at Albertsons and he told me they already have a plan in place to close up immediately based on any incident deemed as a national emergency. The place is barred up. Then Fema comes and picks up all the food. You and your family then have the option of going to the Fema, registering for camping duty, and staying a while. "When the sun comes up I got steaks on the griddle! ..."
Camping isn't so bad. I am sure you can leave at any time and why bother going home anyway? Your cupboards are bare, and there are dangerous criminals roaming around. Goverment is good, there to save you from yourself.
why would anyone assume that because the doctor doesn't announce that he has guns that he doesn't, or nbc rather chose to obviate from that ilk, or aspect, of those preparing for the worst.
And I quote "People who engage in this survivalist lifestyle are exhibiting what I would call an extreme reaction they revert to behavior designed to insure their security"
So what we have here is a 'Doctor' giving his 'opinion' (Ever notice that all doctors do is give their opinions? Opinions are for whatholes?) and ...
What he just said was just about the most idiotic thing you've ever heard when you think about it. He completely states the obvious..but the thing is you listen to it and you don't judge what he's saying..he becomes the judge and somehow he's the 'expert'.
So people that work to insure their security are 'revert'ing to some sort of primitive behaviorism like an animal ...as opposed to trusting the government to care and feed for you, or whatever support structure you're supposed to beleive in as a citizen of planet evolved futuro mark seven...
and the most important thing is for you to undertstand that anyone that works to insure their security is being extreme..they are an extremist...a blatant danger to the socio economic structure of things.
That's Doctor Leibermans opinion...for which he got paid how many thousands of dollars to share with you via CNBC...
We guns, yes, but also a FARM with horses to work the land. All you quacks will be slaughtering yourself and feeling "tough".
One neighors house a clear lookout of most of our farm, they were sniper in the Rangers. We already have an agreement in place to keep his family fed and he'll be part of the lookout.
And your bodies will go to our pigs.
Meet your neighbors, NO amount of stockpiled food will keep you healthy forever once the Greater Depression really sets in. Only the ability to GROW food and have community around you.
Yes, I caught what that psychologist said, insinuating that anyone who prepares is insane. So according to his logic, and the government's, if you have 3 days worth of food you're being a good citizen. Any more than that, it means you're insane, scared witless and dangerous. Who are they to draw the line indicating how much food is smart to store? That psychologist didn't even need to open his mouth. Just mentioning him on there will make people tune out and dismiss survivalists as too extreme.
I almost cheered when the survivalist said if you have health insurance and auto insurance, it should make sense to insure against the economy.
1. There will be no "govt goons" or FEMA if it gets very bad. Look at Katrina...they ran around like headless chickens, and local law enforcement went home to take care of their own. In a national SHTF, most govt weenies will do the same....go home to take care of their own, or in the case of the military, pull back into bases to cover their own.
2. The doc in the video might be smarter than we think ( I sure hope so )and have all that stuff already moved to a bug out location. When his Today show watching neihbors show up for a meal, they may find the house deserted and the shelves dusty.
You people that always take a dump on anyone that admits who they are are idiots. No his neigbors won't come kill him, good God. I really grow tired of you people that act like you are so much smarter then everyone else, "a real survivalist", etc. Most of you are the same people that quote great men like Jefferson, Henry and Franklin in forum signatures and then cower to stand up in your own names.
On the piece itself once again preppers are made to look like paranoids. The producer of this segment wanted me involved I turned him down when he said, "well the one family had a huge pantry, the gave me what I need for this story", in other words he wasn't interested in reality just painting preppers as one dimensional types that store food due to economic fears. The subtle assosiation to the non event of Y2k thrown in just to make a point.
I've gotta agree with you, Jack. I grew up where everyone is a "He-Man" and thinks they are independent, but rarely do they hunt alone or just walk in the woods without a companion. Most people (even Anonymous) are more neighborly than they realize most of the time. As the Empire decays, more and more people will realize that value doesn't come from a job, and money isn't value. We'll all be working for each other and making our own stuff and growing food or trading something for it. My 'stockpile' consists of skills and tools. Heck, I can make tools if mine are stolen. Sure, I'll miss the cordless stuff and the welders, but I will always be able to devise a way to make something work or kill something to eat. As for psychs, I recommend http://www.peakoilblues.com
Keep up the good work,
Dan P.S. Oh, as for the anonymous thing? If you are on the internet, you are not anonymous. Very few people understand how powerful the computers are at the NSA and how quickly they can get any records from any ISP at any time. The recent babble about "warrantless wiretapping" is only a smokescreen of drivel to keep CONgress thinking it is doing something.
Jack and Dan, good comments (particularly your Post Script Dan).
With regards to the psychologist, when would a person not behave to insure their survival? I thought it was a nice little trick of the producers to get him on because, we all know, psychologist never deal with the sane.
Honestly I feel sorry for the people on the couch at the end, I hope they can snap out of their arrogance.

ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking.
ReplyDeleteLOL...MORON...I'm with you guys. A true "survivalist" wouldn't announce his reserves on network television...
ReplyDeleteWhat was his address again???!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust in case the address leaves anything to question, the nice panoramic of his house will be of great use. I think I could easily identify it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, for all the smarts he think he has, this was a SERIOUS mistake.
3am. Four muted bangs. Loading up the fridge next door.

People underestimate what a starving man will do to feed himself or his family. We are animals underneath all the social conditioning and BS.

ReplyDeleteYou can't be 24/7 on guard. Guns are great, but that food is as good as stolen lol.

Even you, Mr Farmer with the snipers is not safe from the goons. Wait until they come around to eminent domain your farm and you fire the first shot.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are way up the food chain, but don't get too happy about it quite yet.
