FDIC in The Hole Over 8 Billion: More Money Needs To Be Printed

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The government insurance fund that protects more than $4.5 trillion of U.S. bank deposits slipped into the red at the end of September, after fifty banks collapsed during the third quarter.

The deposit insurance fund dropped by $18.6 billion during the third quarter of 2009 to negative $8.2 billion, as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. set aside $21.7 billion in provisions for additional bank failures. This is the second time in the agency's history that the balance has fallen into negative territory.

  1. FDIC is all smoke and mirrors for the sheeple. Bank fails, you file, it take months to get your money back, by then your currency is worthless.

Those who leave their livelyhood in the hands of thieves deserve what is coming to them.

  7. Gold is a physical store of wealth.

If gold was not money, please tell us why the London Gold price is fixed daily by the BANK OF ROTHSCHILD.

Wake up, grow up, drink the coffee.

  8. Quantatative easing ?

Man...It must be nice just sitting around board rooms all day thinking this shit up. These official sounding terms...

These people are worse than the Mafia. At least the mobs used to charge you 12% on loans. But these bankers are doing one better.

They are not only borrow your hard earned tax money to pay themselves million dollar bonuses, but they are lending you your own money back at 25-30% interest on your credit card!

Don't you understand that these people don't give a flying crap about you ? They are laughing at you all as they light their Havanas, drink their Scotch and head overseas for their vacations! Their kids lack nothing and are oblivious to the recession.

They are having a good ole time while you are sitting there contemplating weather some guy is lying to you on the internet about buying extra cans of beans for a rainy day just in case it was all true. Go ahead keep thinking about it while the smart people stock up. More for us...

    Here's a clue:

There is no recession in WallStreet. There is no recession in Washington DC. There is certainly no recession in the Military. They just got an increase in their budget. 1 trillion for normal defense and 1.5 trillion for black budgets. That's not a recession. That's a raise.

The only recession is on Mainstreet and it is definitely turning into a depression for the Middle Class and Poor.

But go ahead and keep watching sports until they foreclose on your house and then you can sit in a tent watching to see how many of your ribs are sticking out from hunger pains as you become a statistic of the 49 million in the US who are homeless and starving.

You won't be able to say anything then because your internet and your TV will be permanently disconnected.

Wake Up America! Wake Up and fight back before its you in that situation!

The Criminals are in the Government now.

  10. These 49 million (Some say 22 million) who are out of work/homeless (unless they are disabled,) need to relocate like I had to several times, to other areas for work..in my generation , many had to move out of state for new jobs in the early 80's during a bad recession..Back then many of us didn't have alot of household items to take along, so the move wasn't that big of a deal. We didn't mooch off relatives either. Laura
