Its A Slow Motion Economic Depression

London, England – Early this week, the world’s largest central bank, the Federal Reserve, announced plans to exit its monetary stimulus efforts. It unveiled a new tool – reverse repos – to help speed the work.

The term, “unintended consequences” was probably invented to describe such tools. Give the feds a saw and they will cut off their fingers. Give them a pistol and they will blow off their toes. Give them a chainsaw…please!

The private sector debt crisis of 2008-2009 will almost certainly lead to a public sector debt crisis sometime between now and eternity, if not sooner. In the standard narrative, governments must stimulate their economies out of the slump. Leading economists propose it, then defend it…and then, when it doesn’t work, they call for more of it.

Now those economists are claiming victory and many are calling on the Fed to withdraw its monetary stimulus before it shows up as consumer price inflation. They’re hoping the Fed can head it off by sopping up the surplus liquidity before it is too late.

Optimists expect mild inflation in a decent recovery. Pessimists fear the feds may have waited too long; they think they see higher rates of inflation coming. Here on the back page we see no recovery…nor any inflation. At least, not yet. Instead, we are blind. We see nothing. But as for what is coming…a slow motion depression wouldn’t surprise us. Neither would the collapse of the public debt market

Bob Chapman: The Illuminati is Trying To Hoodwink You
(snippet)
Te still can't believe it. Obama has added the Emperor of Japan to his groveling bow list. The Joker has run wild, breaking 200 years of precedent. Did you get the message America? We now bow down to emperors and dictators, like Obama wants to be. OK everybody, let's now all practice getting on our knees, groveling and licking elitists boots. Good, now repeat. Again. Are you starting to get the picture? Now let's all practice our goose steps and our "Heil Hitler" salute. Good, now repeat. Again. Excellent. We hope you all like being National Socialists. Keep practicing now. You're gonna love it!
Let's connect some dots. We have George Soros, a high level spokesman for the Illuminati, telling us that China is going to take the spotlight away from America, that China is an ascending nation, while America is a descending nation. This is what the Illuminists have decided for us. At the same time, suddenly, China reverses course, not only legalizing the ownership of gold and silver for the first time in many decades, but actively promoting both to their populace. By contrast in America, gold and silver are called barbaric relics, bubbles, and non-producing, no-return assets, about as desirable as syphilis, anthrax or the bubonic plague. So we have gold and silver promotion in the ascending country, and gold and silver suppression in the rapidly descending country. We could not possibly hope to make a more eloquent statement about the virtues of gold and silver than that, and you had better drill this concept into your heads quickly, or you will be instantly vaporized in the upcoming financial holocaust. The Illuminati have instructed China on precisely what they must do to keep their economy from collapsing, to keep their citizens solvent and to assure the retention of their political power. But China is probably too late. We do not believe that the Illuminati can hold things together long enough for China and its citizens to load up on an amount of gold and silver sufficient to carry them through the upcoming financial Armageddon which the Illuminists will use to clear the way for a one world government, economy and currency.

  1. Quote ol' Bobby all you want, but like I said the Illuminati is essentially a myth perpetrated by some online websites. A snowball that has grown large nearly on its own. The Order of Illuminati was a secret society which inducted Freemasons in it. Its purpose was to overthrow the ruling class and religious order of the time because of obvious inequalities, repression, and butchery. It was eventually dissolved. The phrase came about again only in modern times as a catch-all for those who wish to refer to all those big dark sinister men lurking behind locked doors pulling at your helpless strings, but there is no actual trail or evidence linking this group that dissolved more than 200 years ago. there have been other secret societies that came and went. This just happens to be the name that stuck with the paranoid right wing christian patriot movement that usualy wrote about it on the web. So, I am not arguing that secret societies or conspiracies dont exist, rather the one being perpetrated is largely based on myth and inacurrate information. You posting all these illuminati articles and linking it to the cause of the depression and all the silly followers that come on here and spout about the banksters, mexicans, and illuminati dont lend much credibility to the site, but it is a little amusing.

  2. For example, in T. Jefferson's words, summarizing the events that had happened some time later:

Weishaupt believes that to promote this perfection of the human character was the object of Jesus Christ. That his intention was simply to reinstate natural religion, & by diffusing the light of his morality, to teach us to govern ourselves. His precepts are the love of god & love of our neighbor. And by teaching innocence of conduct, he expected to place men in their natural state of liberty & equality. He says, no one ever laid a surer foundation for liberty than our grand master, Jesus of Nazareth. He believes the Free masons were originally possessed of the true principles & objects of Christianity, & have still preserved some of them by tradition, but much disfigured. The means he proposes to effect this improvement of human nature are "to enlighten men, to correct their morals & inspire them with benevolence. Secure of our success, sais he, we abstain from violent commotions. To have foreseen, the happiness of posterity & to have prepared it by irreproachable means, suffices for our felicity. The tranquility of our consciences is not troubled by the reproach of aiming at the ruin or overthrow of states or thrones." As Wishaupt lived under the tyranny of a despot & priests, he knew that caution was necessary even in spreading information, & the principles of pure morality. He proposed therefore to lead the Free masons to adopt this object & to make the objects of their institution the diffusion of science & virtue. He proposed to initiate new members into his body by gradations proportioned to his fears of the thunderbolts of tyranny. This has given an air of mystery to his views, was the foundation of his banishment, the subversion of the masonic order, & is the colour for the ravings against him of Robinson, Barruel & Morse, whose real fears are that the craft would be endangered by the spreading of information, reason, & natural morality among men. This subject being new to me, I have imagined that if it be so to you also, you may receive the same satisfaction in seeing, which I have had in forming the analysis of it: & I believe you will think with me that if Wishaupt had written here, where no secrecy is necessary in our endeavors to render men wise & virtuous, he would not have thought of any secret machinery for that purpose.

  3. Jesus of Nazereth was the natural man.
Nature could not convict him of one offense.
    You will be judged likewise.

  4. Anything that is done in secret is done to hide the evil that is being committed. Bob Chapman is correct in his statements while the above poster is quite mistaken.

  5. I love the comment about how owning gold is portrayed in dumbed down America as idiotic, while in China the government is actually telling people to go out and buy Gold and Silver.

It would sure be nice if we didn't have a government that was working hand in hand with the banksters.

  6. "Correct", "mistaken", I love your intellectual arguments (and self-congratulating), no really. Oh, and "i'll be judged". Good one. It makes you sound like scared ants. Look, in a time of insanity, sensibleness is needed more than ever.

Like I said, the intent was good but the method was ill-conceived. One can not argue against secrecy in a time of religious persecution, pe se. Prove how self-government is "evil" by nature. But anyway, that was over 200 years ago and his group was banned and dissolved. The point is that there is no connection with the filthy groveling fools who run the countries of today. It is just a confused attempt to make sense of something people don't fully understand. But go ahead, keep buying into a completely mistaken myth.

  7. The great depression effected the world so greatly. I just hope this current recession calms before it gets too bad.
