Reality: US Is Losing Around 2 Million Jobs A Month

By the time “the dust settles” at the end of March, total U.S. weekly lay-offs will amount to nearly three million jobs. Yet, according to Bloomberg, the U.S. government is about to make the fraudulent announcement that only 660,000 jobs were lost in March – equal to one week's lay-offs.

Admittedly the weekly number only reports lay-offs, not net job losses (lay-offs minus new jobs created). However, for the Bloomberg estimate to be realistic, the U.S. economy would have had to create over 2 million jobs in March.

This idea is so ludicrous, it goes without saying it has a zero probability of being true. A very generous estimate is that there could possibly have been close to a million new positions created (or people recalled from lay-off). Thus, the best case scenario for U.S. job losses for the month of March would be a total of 2 million jobs lost – not the absurd lie that only 660,000 Americans lost their jobs.

The government has been lying about job losses virtually every month since the U.S. Greater Depression began. What is different with recent lies is the magnitude of those lies.

  1. I have to laugh about how blatant the MSM is in its negative portrayal of the Tea Party in Nashville today.

If you are stuttering fool, you are rushed over to speak to a camera. If you are articulate, professional, and speak well, they will have nothing to do with you.

People that want less or more responsible government are portrayed as imbeciles.

This is how Corporate banker TV works. Observe for yourself.

The scum like Bernanke are held up as heroes by the MSM, while people that care are ridiculed and scorned.

  2. I laugh at how stupid the Teabaggers are, that is what you called yourselves before you sexually repressed republicans knew what it meant, you are a joke and are being played by the right and they are robbing you, while you are voting against your own interests, but are too stupid to see it!

  3. Reminds me a when the History Channel did a story on the Manned moon landing hoax. Everyone supporting the fact that it was a hoax was wearing a suit and tie with diplomas in the background.

The people presenting evidence of the Moon Hoax were backward rednecks. In fact, the main speakers was a snack collector sitting on a bucket outside a pig pen.

Of course there are hundreds of scientists that know the manned missions were staged on a set in Nevada. Stanley Kubrik's wife even said after his death that he was hired to help.

The media controls people's perception of what thought is acceptable and which is not.

  4. 8:33 you missed the point, whether they are right or wrong. The Corporate media decides who is right or wrong based on its selfish interests and they pushes its own agenda. Without a very keen eye, a viewer is completely manipulated.

  5. MSM power = 50% of deluded Americans are ok with us bombing Iran. Now that is mind manipulation at its best.

  9. 8:40, I've always said that if the moon landing were real, they would be able to zoom in on the flag and landing site with todays telescopic technology. When are we going to see that?

  10. I have a question for everyone.

On Thursday the unemploymnet numbers were stated to be off by a whopping 860,000.

So how did unemployment go DOWN to 9.7% ?

Is this an altered state of reality or is this all lies?

  11. 957 all lies, and that is the way they want it. Truth is we are in for the biggest Depression in US history, fact is we are already in it, but the sheeple watching tv and lol ing are missing it, but will soon have a very rude awakening.

  12. according to zero hedge with no unseasonal adjustment unemployment u3 is 10.6. u6 should be 18%. today confirmed to me the govt's bullshit. i bet there will be no bank failures today. inflationist are right but we are going to have a deflationary death spiral that could last for a long time then the fed will print unlimited money then our debts will be too great and america will be crushed by death. we are going to be like greece in 5-8 years time.

  13. 8:40 am is right, of course.
It's not so much that we faked the moon landings, per se, as we just didn't want to tell the american people what we really spent the 1000 billion dollars it cost at that time to put a man on the moon.

There was also a problem with sheilding the men from radiation in the space between earth and the moon. Little problem of needing about 6 feet of lead to sheild the crew from all those hi energy neutrons and gamma rays n such.

    LOL

Btw, Stanley Kubricks The Shining has embeded in it, in code, an explanation of the entire Space Odyssey 2001, NASA Moon landing thing.

The day we have 100% unemployment will be a day to celebrate, for the peons will finally be free of their enslavement. They will learn new skills and discover new talents they never knew existed. And they will no longer be supporting the system which imprisoned their lives and destroyed other's.

  15. my hours are now cut from 40 a week to 8 per week... ARE THEY COUNTING ME IN THE "UNEMPLOYED" STATISTICS? MAYBE 8 HOURS A WEEK IS THE NEW NORMAL....? PISSED IN PA.

We deserve to be where we are for the way we behave and never listen... So part of me wants it to crash but at the same time do any of your REALLY know what that means?

    1. CRIME...I mean rape/assaults/robberies

    2. HUNGER...Easy for us to say F*ck it but who wants to say no to a child or an elderly person?

    3. ABUSE...Happens everytime by governments...They panic and impose harsh rules to scare people

So part of me says "Lets do this and get it over with!"

The other part wants the 4 angels holding back the 4 winds to stay steady for now...Either way it will all come to pass...Badly.

  17. I think that by now almost everyone doesn't trust official inflation and unemployment statistics. They have been playing with them and spinning them for years!

  18. Freaken goverment lies lies lies. I am a selfemployed carpenter out of work for a year do you how many of us trades people that are out of work that arent on the books millions U6 doesnt even figure that god help us all

    ReplyDelete
  19. If U6 says about 17% then the real total unemployment/underemployment is probably more like 23%. Just about 1 in 4 Americans is suffering!

    ReplyDelete
  20. 1:21 how many people are working that produce something . Goverment jobs produce ZERO they steal from us to have a job

    ReplyDelete
  21. While most Americans are suffering, Jamie Dimon (JP Morgan) gets a 16 Million stock bonus, Lloyd Blankfein (Goldman Sachs) gets a 9 Million Stock bonus.

  23. I don't know why some people here are so flippant about unemployment. True unemployment (U6 + out-of-work contractors) is sitting at 20%+. This is a DISASTER.

It's pretty obvious that outsourcing coupled with virtually non-existent, import tariffs do not work to the advantage of America.

It's also pretty obvious that someone out there is deliberately trying to hurt mainstream Americans. If world production of oil is declining, why aren't there giant, crash programs in place to install solar and wind power in homes throughout America? Also, why isn't there a gun pointed on the Big Three to produce millions of plug-in hybrid vehicles per year? And what about increasing nuclear power? This is an emergency.

The next wave of mortgage resets will occur toward the end of 2010 and continue well into 2011. It is nearly FOUR TIMES bigger than the previous one.

    This is absolutely incredulous.

  24. Government lies.

    We know that.

People are hurting very bad and it will get much, much worse.

Don't spend one dime you don't have to on bullshit.

    Get food and water.

    Get into survival mode.

Serious stuff is going to be happening. Worse than ever in this nation's history. The unprepared will starve and perish.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And why is the government allowing millions of H1B and L1 visaholders to work here when so many Americans are out of work?

    Deport all of them now!!!
