We need reform in the area of health insurance companies, Medicare, and Social Security. Judge Kithil continued to say: "Other problems I have with this bill include:
• The bill will provide medical coverage for all non-United States of America residents even if they are here illegally. (pg 50 / section 152)
• The physicians will be paid the same pay regardless of specialty and set their fees charged (pg 241and 253).
• The tax that will be imposed on the American people will not be treated as a tax. Is it a tax or not?! (pg 203 line 14-15).
• Congress is exempt from the Social Security system, is well funded under a private health and retirement plan. I always thought it would be nice to incur their benefits when they retire.
• The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts (pg 58 and 59)”

Don't forget you didn't need insurance back then but you could only see an herbalist or homeopath back then. No cat scans or MRIs were available.

It's pretty simple. The U.S. is screwed. Why in the world would you focus on health care when the economy is is the crapper, debt is obscebe and unemployment is debilitating? Health Care should be so far down the list of priorities yet it will be passed as if the country is experiencing prosperity. The public doesn't want it but it will pass anyway just like tarp.

People are afraid of supposed terrorists, an pandemics, etc... It is a lack in believing in God that feeds this fear of death. People want to prolong their lives. As if the government can protect a person from death or like they really want to. I heard part of the bill will require people to have a RFID chip injected into them. What if you refuse to. It seems pretty simple to me. There are more non-politicians than there are politicians. The government has more and better weapons than the general population. We the general population keep working our asses off to give them money so they can have more weapons to use against us. The general population is pretty stupid. We have allowed our government to keep us from speaking what we really want to say. To see the arrogance of our political leaders as they talk about what is good for this country as a whole makes me sick. whatever happened to personal responsibility? ReplyDeleteLat night my "debate" with my wife continued. Things were different 200+ years ago. She came from a country that is still 200+ years in the past:
- 50% infant mortality rate. When the baby dies, bury it behind the house and get back to work. Many parents don't even give their baby a name, til it's first birthday!
- No safe water to drink
- Tons of food, but 90% is exported to the USA, so the local population starves.
- A government as corrupt as it gets, "pay me and I'll listen to your problem".
- No medical care outside of the big cities
In her country, protesters are simply killed by corrupt military and police. The population knows it best to shut up and take the ass raping by the government. It is also forbidden to have a firearm, except for the rich, they can have anything they want.
Naturally, the wife got a bit angry, not over the context of the debate, but over the fact that our debate was making it difficult for her to watch her evening soap opera! The flipp'in TV was oh so more important.
Anyone who has not read the Bill COMPLETELY and UNDERSTANDS it fully, should not be allowed to vote on it. Should I venture to guess that 99% of Congress has no idea what's in that God Damned bill!
Oh and here's the best part, the first thing I hear on the news radio this morning is that Obama's next task is Immigration Reform! The country is dieing a slow death, jobs continue to vanish, more and more people are losing their jobs, homes, life savings... forget about going to college, and this worthless POTUS wants to fix the immigration problem!

Agreed, but that won't happen. America is no longer a democracy. After the health care bill is "deemed" to have passed, next immigration reform well be "deemed" to pass, followed by cap and trade and whatever else his excellency Obama has on his socialist agenda. I'm up in Canada witnessing something I never thought possible - America becoming a socialist state and hardly a whimper from the American people. Incredible!

Anyone that has the ability to get the hell out of Dodge should do so now while they still can. I would actually recommend South America, maybe Argentina, or maybe Nicaragua. I know Americans that are living like Kings on a $400/month budget there, grow all their own food, fishing; like a permanent vacation.
If you can't get out, or if it just is not logistically possible, consider moving to a state that respects individual rights and adheres to the Constitution. Lowest on that scale would be California the Gestapo state; highest would be New Hampshire.
To the falsely patriotic that would say leaving is unpatriotic, I say blow me. YOU stay with the 98% brainwashed, apathetic, Hitler youth sheeple and see how far it gets you. You are on the Titanic and it is time to find a raft.
