Former Cleanup Worker: Oil Cleanup is All Cosmetic

WKRG.com News

GULF SHORES, Alabama - Former oil clean-up worker Candi Warren says she signed up to make a difference, but soon found out the work of cleaning the beaches was all cosmetic. That's what she was told, she says.

Warren says she knew that when crews worked during the day, the tide and surf buried oil overnight. But they were forbidden to dig it up. She quit in disgust three weeks ago despite the $18 per hour pay.

She said she was told to only clean the surface of the sand, that this is all cosmetic. She was on a crew at Gulf State Park where tourists go. She says it has priority so as to make it look like the beaches are clean.

Warren says she believes money is being wasted on the crews and says "At some point the real clean-up will have to begin, but I'm afraid the money will be gone."

She used a shovel and dug down six, eight, maybe twelve inches into the sand to show us the layers of oil close to the shoreline.

  1. Nothing new happening here. The BP bosses are running things as planned.

If you live on the dead gulf coast, I would get the hell out of there while the getting is good.

You see, its all by design. Have you sheeple figured this out yet?

  2. The G20 in Toronto looks like it will be a real humdinger. These scumbag, thug cops. If one lives in your neighborhood, spit in his/her general direction, flip them the bird, sneer at them and give them no respect. Ostracize them, banish them, treat them like the dirt they are. All the protesters should dress like politicians and bankers with briefcases and suits and spread out rather than congregating.....they'd be much more effective. If the police state wants a fight so bad, give it to them. These asshole, cowardly cops have to go home after "work" and they live amongst us. Make their home life a living hell. Send a message to them that their behavior is unacceptable and they are accountable to US....the one's who pay their salaries.

  3. The money will be gone, as soon as BP figures out where to hide it.

If you live in the Gulf area, please leave before you are forced to.

Once mandatory evacuations are started, you will find you and your family stuck at some check point you can turn out of. Once caught, your car will be searched and you weapons, guns, knives, bows and arrows, ammo, will all be taken "for your safety", your gold and silver will be taken "for your safety" and after you have been stripped of everything, you will then be allowed to join the convoy to the FEMA camp.

To stay till the last moment is foolish. I'm in Southern California and I have an extra bedroom. All of us with "extra rooms" will have to consider helping those forced from their homes by BP.

We can not allow these bastards to win.

  4. 12:56, apparently you've never been to Southern Louisiana. Believe me, you don't want these people in your home, or anywhere near it. Have you ever seen Deliverance? That's what you would be inviting in.....and you'd be squealing like a piggy in short order. These people don't even bother to wipe their asses and they have a penchant for human flesh. Think twice....it's your life you're talking about here.

  5. 12:56, or anyone: don't let any strangers into your house; now days no one can be trusted..they could steal from you or even kill you. I'm a retiree and over the years I have become cynical on people in general, even my own age group, because of things I've seen, heard, or read from the news, tv, over the years. Yes, this applies to relatives if they are not on the same page. Keep your guard up and find like minded patriots for bartering, etc. Keep a low profile, hunker down.

  6. Ok, I give up trying to be a humanitarian. They'll just have to be hearded up into a FEMA camp. I viewed my copy of Deliverence not long ago and I can't accept that everyone in the south are like those two characters in the film.

One thing for sure is when hope is lost, as Gerald Celente say, people will "lose it". All of their rules of morality and civility will be gone and the streets will become a very dangerous place.

  7. Is what we are seing TAR BALLS mixed with more than a million gallons of toxic dispersants , deliberately released by BP forming a reddish sludge washing up on beaches in some limited areas?
Big massive oil plumes are said to be hidden below the sea surfaces ?
    Tar balls?
    Tar pit
A tar pit, or more accurately known as an asphalt pit, is a geological occurrence where subterranean bitumen leaks to the surface, creating a large puddle, pit, or lake of asphalt.
There are only a few known asphalt lakes worldwide:
    · Pitch Lake at La Brea, Trinidad and Tobago
    · La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles
    · McKittrick, California near Bakersfield
    · Carpinteria, Santa Barbara County, California
    · Lake Bermudez in Venezuela

A petroleum seep is a place where liquid or gaseous hydrocarbons escape to the ground surface. The hydrocarbons may escape through fractures and fissures in the rock, between geological layers, or directly from an oil-bearing outcrop.
Petroleum seeps are quite common: California has thousands of naturally occurring seeps. Much of the petroleum discovered in California during the 19th century was from observations of seeps.[1] The world's largest natural oil seepage is Coal Oil Point in the Santa Barbara Channel, California. Two of the better known tar seep locations in California are McKittrick [2] and the La Brea Tar Pits.. More @

    One "conspiracy theorist" says:
The ‘disaster’ in the Gulf of Mexico is beyond a false flag; it’s an illusion. What I’m about to reveal will more than likely go by the wayside, and the charade will continue. The reason for writing this is not for attention, games, or folly, but to expose the biggest scam in the 21st century, and to relieve some aching hearts. There is no need for fear as this is a staged event. I cannot reveal my sources, they do go straight to the top, but hopefully what I write will echo inside of each person reading this as the truth.
“Much of the information I present here cannot be easily verified, fast checked, or ever presented as anything, but hearsay, as they are just words of an anonymous online entity. The Government, corporations, and the people behind them have pulled out all the stops to insure the truth doesn’t come out. They are the reason why the beaches have private security contractors, insuring no one is able to gain access to the oil on shore. They are the reason the Gulf of Mexico is a no fly zone. They are the reason why the gulf states are being locked down by military. They are the reason why the well head you see is different in many videos that BP releases. Without this measure of control the illusion would fail. In this post, what I can do is provide leading evidence, or give clues to the truth; from there you can use something that has gone by the way side, common sense.
Oh, don’t mind me , there is oil coming out of the gusher , or is there ?….”
…”What BP, Haliburton, and other co-conspirators intentionally drilled into was an Asphalt Volcano. Sounds scary doesn’t it? It really is not. In fact, after you read the above link you’ll know that the Gulf of Mexico is literally coated in oil, tar, and methane hydrate at the bottom.”
