IMF Fears 'Social Explosion' From World Jobs Crisis

America and Europe face the worst jobs crisis since the 1930s and risk "an explosion of social unrest" unless they tread carefully, the International Monetary Fund has warned.

"The labour market is in dire straits. The Great Recession has left behind a waste land of unemployment," said Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the IMF's chief, at an Oslo jobs summit with the International Labour Federation (ILO).
He said a double-dip recession remains unlikely but stressed that the world has not yet escaped a deeper social crisis. He called it a grave error to think the West was safe again after teetering so close to the abyss last year. "We are not safe," he said.

  1. Well of course there won't be a double dip when there's never a recovery in the first place. That's common sense.

  5. Idealy ,Capitalism and the American way does not preach class war it stands above all that empty class war rhetoric.

It is to busy with the practical stuff of financial coups for collecting assets in the hands of the Elite. Like in the hands the few % that now own most of the assets ,including the debt promises to pay of most Debt Peons.
A reward for hard working capital and a free market for debt issuance and debt collectors .
    Thats the true American way.
Anybody debt Peon that preaches a "class war" heaven should go to back to Russia and fight Russian not patriotic American oligarchs and banksters .
