The Un-Recovery

R.A. | LINDAU,

THE Bureau of Economic Analysis just released its second estimate of GDP growth for the second quarter, and the pace of expansion was revised down, from 1.3% to 1.0% (a bit worse than the revision to 1.1% that was expected). The 0.4% first quarter growth estimate wasn't changed, which means that for the first half of 2011 the American economy expanded at a 0.7% pace. That's below the rate of population growth, which is to say that in per capita terms output continues to shrink. So how are things looking forward?

Imports subtract from measured output, so falling imports made for faster growth—but still signaled a weakening domestic economy. Federal government spending was up slightly in the second quarter, but the net government contribution was still a drag, thanks to falling state and local spending. Moving forward, the federal government will join state and local governments in consistently subtracting from output. Private investment and consumption could make up the gap, but American confidence has been badly shaken by the debt-ceiling battle and financial market havoc.

It's worth noting, however, that while the GDI figures are stronger than the GDP figures, they still point to a slowdown in economic activity as the year went on, and they still point to an economy performing well below potential in the second quarter.

  1. Not much longer now until justice is served. Justice is already being served at a small scale.

America, Britain... you sorry ass people supported the glamorization of drugs, sex, and money. Perverted pedophilliac druggies covertly operated by Hugh Hefner and others of the "sexual revolution" had far more insidious plans behind this whole gimmick.

(Sick enough, the media attempts to make the Hefner girls out to be educated and classy that they have no problems, and Hefner treats them well. Nothing could be further from the truth.)

Age old trick, there was nothing new about a sexualized culture. This was studied by these sickos too. Countries that become sexually focused lose intelligence, morality, harmony, and motivation.

Now you have nothing more than a population of uneducated drug users wishing they were famous and rich. Women have gone insane because of the amount of degradation pushed on them from the media; plastic surgeries, botox, cutting wrists, speed, bulimia are all the order of the day for the modern woman.

Sports, beer, and how to manipulate a girl with bruised confidence are primary to the modern man. Sex is not something we need. If we don't get food or water we die. If we don't get sexual release we actually get healthier.

The Kama Sutra (Tantric Yoga) originally taught methods to finally refrain from ejaculation, thereby returning one's vitality inward. Today's sham new age idiot teachers base it on how to get the biggest orgasm. (Desires are the cause of all suffering, yet, they seem to be the thing most multiplied today!)

How is it that losing clothes was to be good for us so we can walk around being aroused by the skin of females? Native peoples in many places have always walked around naked but they never focus on sex (unless to make a baby or love their life long partner). Wow! What does that mean? It means their minds are focused on more important things, and acting on the procreative instinct over and over is nothing more than a HABIT!

How about all the serial killers, rapists, pedophiles, and STDs that have flourished since the 1950s? Only if you were alive back then would you know these things were not even heard of. Kids could walk to the city and back without any worries, only two venereal diseases were identified. 17 year old boys would split a dad's beer and think that was cool. 10 year olds today use heroin. Several schools where I live had to give memos out warning parents about bath salt. Bath salt is the new drug kids are into, it has a more potent effect than LSD. I'm sure Jonh Lennon would be in line to try that if his stupid ass was still alive.

What I'm saying might seem a bit radical, obviously this goes further back than the sexual revolution. But the sexual revolution, I believe, was the elites greatest weapon against us. Now we are mostly broken families, drugs, anti social and unempathic, mistrusting, liars, thieves, and directionless.

Be warned America, AIDS was your first one. The economy now is your last...
