Chaos On The Streets Of America

The American Dream

Should we just expect mass chaos on the streets of America every time a major holiday rolls around? At least 42 people were hit by gunfire in New York City over the Labor Day weekend. The violence got so bad that even the mayor felt compelled to publicly address it. In Chicago, at least 6 people (including a man in a wheelchair) were killed over the Labor Day weekend. Sadly, this is just a continuation of a trend that we have seen build over the past few years. At the beginning of the summer, there was terrible violence all over America during the Memorial Day weekend. We also saw violence break out during 4th of July celebrations. It appears that wherever large groups of young people gather in America today, there is going to be a very good chance that chaos is going to erupt.

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." Our Constitution is in grave danger today. As I wrote about yesterday, this nation is being transformed into a much different place. The federal government has become deeply corrupt and so has a large portion of the American people. So what is the answer? How can we recapture the essence of what once made this country so great?

  1. because, the govt stepped in and replaced religion as everyones god. Get rid of the government and people will have to revert back to their own devices. Sometimes it will be religion, sometimes just good old fashioned self reliance. The government created this problem with their own actions, trying to be everything to everyone.

    Impossible.

  5. There are no solutions to the current economy which is naturally, but reluctantly, dying. Ending the currency officially, resetting the government, and allowing all hell to break loose and run its inevitable course ASAP is the solution.

  6. The government is a reflection of the people !

No; unfortunatly for the remaining MINORITY -
it;s a reflection of 11 very large very powerful special interest groups and thier
165 million groupies who do not work, have not worked for at least 2 years - and will never work again as long as this ponzi scheme is alive.

There are several truisms that No living human can deny and pass a polygraph - one is that if your fat ass consumesw more calories than you burn - you get fat like a sedentary pig. two is that the human being was meant to work - and thruout history when man stopped working

Things went bad ; real bad

The above statement is dangerous to the preservation of the Constitution. We should never give an excuse to those that wish to do away with our rights. Yes, there will be an increase in crime as the economy gets worse but that is an age old problem. I would rather live and deal with crime than surrender my freedom for the illusion of “safety”.
