Life after an EMP Attack: No Power, No Food, No Transportation, No Banking and No Internet

The American Dream

Most Americans do not know this, but a single EMP attack could potentially wipe out most of the electronics in the United States and instantly send this nation back to the 1800s. If a nuclear bomb was exploded high enough in the atmosphere over the middle part of the country, the electromagnetic pulse would fry electronic devices from coast to coast. The damage would be millions of times worse than 9/11. Just imagine a world where nobody has power, most cars will not start, the Internet has been fried, the financial system is offline indefinitely, nobody can make any phone calls and virtually all commerce across the entire country is brought to a complete stop. A nation that does not know how to live without technology would be almost entirely stripped of it at that point. Yes, this could really happen. An EMP attack is America's "Achilles heel", and everyone around the world knows it. It is only a matter of time before someone uses an EMP weapon against us, and at this point we are pretty much completely unprepared.

Remember, this is something that could cause millions times more damage than 9/11 did. Instead of molesting old ladies at airports and chasing goat herders around the mountains of Afghanistan, perhaps we should be addressing our largest security vulnerabilities. But that would require using some common sense. Sadly, common sense seems to be in very short supply in Washington D.C. these days. We all saw what happened after Hurricane Katrina. The government response was a nightmare. An EMP attack would be millions of times worse and the federal government probably would not even be able to get you and your family any assistance. You would truly be on your own. So are you ready? This is yet another reason why the number of preppers in the United States is exploding. A lot of people can see how the world is changing and they understand that the federal government is not going to come through for them when the chips are down. An EMP attack could end life as we know it at any time. It is a glaring security vulnerability and the entire world knows that it is there.I hope that you are getting ready, because the government certainly is not.

  1. As bad as this article makes it sound- it's worse. I bought the audio book (on CD) of "One Second After" which is a dramatization of what would happen after an EMP attack. The biggest thing that happens is starvation. No food. No machines run to harvest it, no machines run to transport it. That book really woke me up. Highly recommend it.

  2. EMP attack is nothing more than fear mongering and misdirection.

The elite have spent decades and trillions to get all their gadgets in place from mobile phones to satellites to track you.

There is no way in hell they are going to do an EMP.

    Biological, maybe. EMP absolutely not.

Out of the 25 or so serious things to worry about over the next two years and EMP is not one of them.

Yes, I know that an EMP can be a natural event via the sun but that will not happen either. Our owners are not concerned about that as they litter the sky with their spy sats. They have access to 1000x more knowledge and science than we do.

  3. "Most Americans do not know this, but a single EMP attack could potentially wipe out most of the electronics in the United States and instantly send this nation back to the 1800s."

Unlikely. In order to cause an EMP coast to coast, the attacker must launch a 3 to 5 Megaton device 130 miles above CONUS. The Maximum fission warhead size is 500 Kilotons, A multimegaton device needs to be hydrogen bomb. Currently there are only two nations that have the capablity to deploy a hydrogen bomb 130 miles above CONUS: Russia and the United states. If Russia was to EMP, the US, it would trigger an all out nuclear war.

At best a terrorist or rogue nation with a fission device could take out a small region with a fission device. However, its far more likely that a terrorist or rogue nation would transport a device into the US by ground or boat in order to obfuscate the origin of the device to avoid retaliation. A detonation in a major city would be much much easier to implement than an EMP attack. A terrorist/Rogue nation EMP might not be successful if the rocket fails to launch properly or of the device fails to detenate at the proper height. It will be difficult for attackers to covertly deploy an EMP device, since rockets requre a lot of infrastructure to set up and launch.

That said, there a significant chance of a natural EMP from a CME (Corona Mass Ejection) from the SUN. Because the Sun in at a Solar mininum, CMEs are fairly frequent event over the next couple of years. So far no CMEs large enough to cause an EMP event have occured in the direction of Earth. CME's are directional, some times they happen to left, right or the far side of the sun. However CMEs are like playing russian roulette, eventually our luck will run out. See http://www.solarcycle24.com for solar news reports.

  4. Never happen. But. If it did I would imagine the book "One Second After" pretty accurately describes how shit would come done.

  5. Nothing on a scale like this can ever happen by a 'terrorist'. Only if our government cooperates or carries it out, just like 9/11. Our government needs electronic gadgets to control the sheeple therefore it will NEVER happen.

    I love this line:

"Instead of molesting old ladies at airports and chasing goat herders around the mountains of Afghanistan, perhaps we should be addressing our largest security vulnerabilities."

Our largest vulnerabilities are our own corrupt government. "We the People" died a long time ago.

  7. The interesting thing is that on 9/11 a Granit missile pierced the Pentagon and showed the world that after spending trillions and trillions of dollars on defense, DoD has not achieved anything.
    See the link here: http://www.911-truth.net/book/Dimitri_Khalezov_Book_Third_Truth_911_free_11chapters_v2.pdf
Do you know why? Because the primary purpose of this so called defense is not defense, but a skillful waste of money.

  8. My business relies on electricity. Without it I would have to close my business. It would be like living in a third world country.

  9. Don't buy into the EMP fear crap.

The planned destruction of all current fiat currencies including the dollar YES. An EMP NO.

  10. An EMP would neutralize everything. Not good for the elite. They are very successful at targeting just their enemies only. That is YOU the middle class.

  11. Once we get enough volts powering the cities we can generate enough electricity to manifest a werewolf into this reality. After the werewolf is activated, we can use it to defeat the Kingdom of EMP.

Our day will come. The EMP have sent their strongest orcs against us. We need a secret weapon, confidentiality is the key to our success. Good luck everyone, may Rome shine its blessing on you.

    AHHHHHHHHHH!

  12. no machines to harvest...no machines to transport...LOL AMAZING that man has lived up til this time having in the past no such modern machines.

even with a total worldwide EMP man would go on.

but massive earthquakes(9-15 on scale) massive plagues, nuke wars, huge spanning droughts, crop diseases and failures, huge wildfires, poisoned fresh water and sea's, fisheries failures, executions and conventional wars ontop of nukes being used also and other things would do the trick. oddly, this is predicted to occur. a combo of horrible man made and natural disasters. EMP's would only be a hardship.

  13. In 1957, the UK tested its first staged thermonuclear weapon, a 1.8 MT device. In 1967, China tested its first staged thermonuclear weapon, a 3.2 MT device. The next year France tested a 2.8 MT staged device. Back in 1961, the USSR tested the largest thermonuclear weapon ever tested—scaled down from its initial 100 Mt design by 50%. In 1954 the US tested the first dry fusion fuel "staged" thermonuclear weapon; a serious nuclear fallout accident occurred. Go figure. China's strategic weapons have high yields - mostly in the megaton range - but are not as accurate as those of the US or Russia. It is believed that China has developed a neutron bomb. 14. an EMP attack is the same fear mongering as Y2K, nothing happened. the end of the world was suppose to take place. many sent back to stone age. Nada!! Silch!! nothing happened and nothing will happen with an EMP attack, Except that the country that launched the flawed attack will be annihilated by traditional means,
    a neutron bomb!

  15. As usual, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. An EMP attack is one possibility. No it does not mean it is inevitable, but guess what, it coudl still happen regardless of your belief systems. As we inch closer towards things imploding and nations potentially warring bcause of business as usual, at some point all bets are off the table. And an EMP could even be arranged in a guerrilla style manner wherein very little accountability is taken, regardless of what country is truly behind it. It may be considered the only "smart way" to begin WWIII to those willing to make the first move.
