The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported an unemployment rate of 9.2 percent in June 2011. That number remains frustratingly consistent each month as millions of Americans struggle to find work. Getting back to the subject of "American Economy and Global Order". The debt ceiling issue we are experiencing today in this country should be of no surprise to anyone. In fact, if we don't collapse our economy this time, it will only collapse that much harder the next time. A global economy and a government designed to regulate such an economy would certainly not be concerned with the plight of the poor.
