Banks Breaking In Homes And Taking Everything

TRUCKEE, Calif. — When Mimi Ash arrived at her mountain chalet here for a weekend ski trip, she discovered that someone had broken into the home and changed the locks.
When she finally got into the house, it was empty. All of her possessions were gone: furniture, her son’s ski medals, winter clothes and family photos. Also missing was a wooden box, its top inscribed with the words “Together Forever,” that contained the ashes of her late husband, Robert.
The culprit, Ms. Ash soon learned, was not a burglar but her bank. According to a federal lawsuit filed in October by Ms. Ash, Bank of America had wrongfully foreclosed on her house and thrown out her belongings, without alerting Ms. Ash beforehand.
In an era when millions of homes have received foreclosure notices nationwide, lawsuits detailing bank break-ins like the one at Ms. Ash’s house keep surfacing. And in the wake of the scandal involving shoddy, sometimes illegal paperwork that has buffeted the nation’s biggest banks in recent months, critics say these situations reinforce their claims that the foreclosure process is fundamentally flawed.

  1. Ha-ha. The same happened to me a year ago. At least we managed to get our belongings out of the house. This case shows that the banksters become more desperate and brazen. They know there are two choices here-total domination and lawlessness or the guillotine. I don’t think they appreciate the later choice. It means they are going to accelerate the domination and lawlessness part. On the other hand we have a chance to observe and, for future generations, create a “Tolerance Index”, which will indicate which nation is less tolerant taking it from behind. So far the Icelanders and the Greeks are leading. I think Canada and US are on the bottom-not a good indicator.

  3. You can expect when the first shot is fired that a Democratic district attorney will throw the book at the homeowner for defending his home and family. Democrats HATE the second amendment and will punish anyone who disagrees with that point of view. They want you to be dependent on the government for your survival.

So, don't harm the bankers when they come to illegally repossess your home. Meekly submit or you will be killed.

  4. Sure, break out your firearms. I know a lot of you are just waiting for the opportunity to fire off a few rounds. But do you think bankers are really going to be doing any of the moving themselves? Of course not. They will be hiring a moving company that have no clue about who owns the place. So if you want to end up in the slammer shining Biff's shoes I would suggest firing indiscriminately at whoever walks through your door at any given time in the day.

  5. Those moving guys know why they are there. They hire young morons with no morals or values. They probably have most of her belongings in their houses right now. Shoot the pricks.

  6. 2:39 - LOL

That is so true about moving guys these days. My sister hired these two doofus 19 year olds a while back to help move furniture in her home. They were so fucking lazy. The worst part was how she ended up taking them to McDonalds. I'm not joking, call her too nice, those kids didn't deserve McDonalds. They should've been sent to the Army. They needed to get off the pot before that would happen (If the Army cares anymore).

I bet the bankers offer the moving dudes Happy Meals from McDonalds once the job is done. LMAO!

  7. Maybe some people should get together, find one of the ceo's mansions and move everything out! Then sell it all on e-bay and give the proceeds to those in genuine need, kind of like a present day robinhood.:)

  8. I'm thinking of the speil so long promoted about homeownership and "dream" in the same sentence. read today home values dropped an average of 30% since '08 yet property taxes have risen 10% on average...expect more the same
