A recent study noted that the majority of people have enough food in their pantries to feed their household for about three days and that seemingly stable societies are really just nine meals from anarchy. For tens of thousands of east coast residents that worst case scenario is now playing out in real-time. No longer are images of starving people waiting for government handouts restricted to just the third-world.

Sandy was minor compared to Katrina and somehow FEMA managed to fail again. Time to shutdown this wasteful misuse of taxpayers money. It's all theater, federal government playing a script for the TV watching masses, and most of the x factor and NFL watchers are buying it. Pathetic slobs, now go get another bag of chips and a beer, the game is on.
ReplyDeleteSandy was not minor compared to Katrina, Sandy affected 15 states cutting them off from power they worked faster with Sandy then they did with Katrina because those 15 states had richer people than did the New Orleans area...
