Irish Parliament Stormed In Bank Protest

Protesters have stormed the Irish parliament during a march against government plans to inject billions of euros into the country's banks.

Dozens of people broke away from the demonstration and ran at the gates of Leinster House, the parliament's main building.
They wrestled with police as officers tried to force them back and secure the gate.
At least one man suffered a head injury during the scuffles with organisers appealing for calm.

  1. Wow, it's nice to read this still goes on. The US sheeple are more interested in watching basketball than defending their rights.

  6. Yes 3:27, that's tough stuff up there in Canada. The super sheeple here in the goodoleusofa sometimes run out on a sports field naked. WOOOAAAH! Can you believe that?

Of course when that happens, the naked super sheeple is tasered multiple times, arrested and thrown in the slammer, where a large percent of the American Sheeple now reside, working for 29 cents an hour, helping to compete with the Chinese slave camps.

YUP, those super sheeple are something else for sure...

  7. Irish Parliament should bailout the people and not the banks. The people have no jobs and things are getting expensive. No wonder the people are upset.

  8. The banks don't just control the US, they control it all.

I found it interesting that the Greeks knew it was the bankers that were screwing them over and robbing them. So they lit them on fire.

US sheeple don't have the slightest clue.

Just think. Back in the 1880s the people hung bankers from the street lights for a lot less than they are doing now.

The PEOPLE back then didn't have 24/7 media banker lies drowning out the truth.

  11. This has been grossly over-reported. I was at this protest and it was a minor scuffle which lasted a few minutes.

But there will be marches every Tuesday from now on until the Government is ousted. Next week's will be bigger and so on.

  15. Background to the irish and Greek “riots”:
    What Euro-Bankers Demand of Greece!
The “Greek bailout” should have been called what it is: a TARP for German and other European bankers and global currency speculators. The money is being provided by other governments (mainly the German Treasury, cutting back its domestic spending) into a kind of escrow account for the Greek government to pay foreign bondholders who bought up these securities at plunging prices over the past few weeks. They will make a killing, as will buyers of hundreds of billions of dollars of credit-default swaps on the Greek government bonds, speculators in euro-swaps and other casino-capitalist gamblers. (Parties on the losing side of these swaps now will need to be bailed out as well, and so on ad infinitum.)This windfall is to be paid by taxpayers – ultimately those of Greece (in effect labor, because the wealthy have been untaxed) – to reimburse Euro-governments, the IMF and even the U.S. Treasury for its commitment to predatory finance. The payment to bondholders is to be used as an excuse to slash Greek public services, pensions and other government spending

  17. The below book is a must read on how the banksters robbed Ireland's wealth. Important because as with Ireland, Argentina, Greece, etc, it is all the same banksters players and tactics.

    Description

1929...On Wall Street, during the worst financial crisis the world had ever seen, the word "Banksters" was coined to describe those ruthless individuals who had gambled away the country's wealth. 2009...The phrase "Banksters" is resurrected as David Murphy and Martina Devlin describe the shocking story of how the Irish banking system was brought to its knees by a corrupt elite driven by profit and greed.Banksters examines the events which triggered the near collapse of Ireland's banking system, when it unfolded that a privileged 'golden circle', caught up in a frenzy of greed and opportunism, had gambled and lost with the deposits and pensions of the Irish people. It charts how an unprecedented orgy of over-borrowing -- fuelled by bankers who threw out the rule book on lending and reckless tax breaks from cavalier politicians --caused a massively over-inflated property bubble. While bank shares climbed to dizzying heights, profits soared and executives earned enormous bonuses, those who cried 'stop!' were shouted down. But there was no promised 'soft landing' when, in September 2008, bankers overnight went from being pillars of society to pariahs. When the word 'Ireland' became synonymous with corruption in the global lending markets. When a generation learned it would pay a high price for the arrogance and greed of its business elite. Banksters is a hard-hitting read that, were it fiction, might not be believed. In describing the key players, their motivations, personalities and lavish lifestyles it poses the all-important questions: who is answerable -- and will all the culprits be called to account?
