I am one of those in the Long Beach School District. If I don't find a job in 4 months, paying my high salary, I'm yet another foreclosure, and I won't be able to make the minimum payment on my $6500 credit card debt.

ReplyDeleteUnder the Dollar Hegemony the US was able to exchange its paper for real world commodities on the promose of real value interest and diviends payments on dollars reinvested in American bonds .
There are now less and less jobs for Americans because the international credit supply was restricted and the Dollar Hegemony in world trade and international finance is in danger of collapsing. Balance of trade figures over many years show that pre-crisis the borrowed and loaned money flowing into america from overseas was equal to the claimed after tax corporate dividends.
The Chinese and others were providing vendor Finance that kept the game going on credit.
The bottom line is this. This means there were no real Profits being created in America!
America without its industry had turned into a Giant Ponzi .Casino Capitalism.
Marxists ,Keynesians ,and monetarist economists as well as capitalists can agree :
There is no point in providing jobs for Americans if a profit cannot be got in production or distribution and exchange of value from their work.
Despite the “left” and Tea party Taliban propaganda that American workers were being “exploited” and delivering up all the profits to capital and it was just “mismanagement” and corruption that stuffed up a perfect economy.
In fact the banksters were very good at making profits in this Casino Capitalism till the game ran out of puff as credit supply dried up . An absolutely marvellous job of cooking up profits from scams on top of scams ,that delivered up 40% of US profits ,simply from moving money.
They are American heroes of capitalism.
Look at their “Perfect Records” in making big money even in today’s markets . These winners and grinners deserve even bigger bonuses . Such skill an American know-how !

The old economy “profits” or jobs cannot like American dollars be printed out of fresh air . All that holds the American economy together now is confidence in printed paper ,government spending and bailouts for socialising past losses in the casino.
While I hate to see anyone lose a job, it is unfortunate that so many people are so deeply in debt. As a child of the depression, we learned that you do not do things on credit, and since the 1980's we, as a people, have been able to invest wisely in gold and silver and reduce if not eliminate exposure to the fiat dollar. The same people who are deeply in debt generally vote Democratic...they did not listen to the lessons of the 1930's and were more interested in the distractions of the 1960's. And they believed that the laws of economics simply did not apply to them For these people - well, game over!

I call BS in this Sandy huffacker, she in fact bought a boat that very same day I was there, she must have been taking a pic for a scrapebook or something and was amazed at the sheer volume of folks since times are so tight. Maybe they just wanted a free ride? who know but I was there and two dealers were present giving boat rides to anyone who wanted one. They had a 24 foot Baja, 24 foot Crownline low profile and there were a couple of Sea Ray's in the water as well. Yes I saw food but they had two tables of snacks for anyone who wanted something to munch on while waiting for a ride. This happened just off of Hwy Saint Bernard on the lake, so you can all suck it

A local uy in the furniture business told me today that Thomasville Furniture in Thomasville, N.C. called him up and said last shipments out of that plant would be in October they are closing & 650 people are gone.
I tried to call them; but they won't talk to just an "ordinary" citizen & I cannot find anything on the web.
I figure you probably have connections that substansiate this?
